About the TSLRRA Annual Meeting

The TSLRRA Annual Meeting is the premier gathering for short line and regional railroad stakeholders across the state, strategically rotated to maximize advocacy and industry collaboration.

In odd-numbered years, we meet in Austin to coincide with Texas Railroad Day at the Capitol. This timing is critical, as it aligns with the Texas Legislative Session, allowing our members to engage directly with lawmakers and provide a unified voice for rail advocacy when key policy decisions are being made.

In even-numbered years, our meeting is held in the DFW area in conjunction with the Southwestern Rail Conference. This partnership allows our members to engage with a broader regional audience, tapping into a wealth of knowledge regarding passenger and freight rail integration, infrastructure development, and technological innovation across the Southwest.

Why Attend?

  • Strategic Partnerships: Benefit from our biennial rotation that connects you with the Southwestern Rail Conference in DFW or legislative advocacy in Austin.

  • Industry-Leading Insights: Hear from leaders across the freight and transit sectors regarding the latest advancements in rail technology, safety protocols, and operational excellence.

  • Regulatory Updates: Gain first-hand knowledge of state and federal policies, safety mandates, and funding opportunities that impact your bottom line.

  • High-Impact Networking: Build essential relationships with Class 1 partners, shippers, and industry suppliers during our dedicated networking sessions and Member Spotlight lunch.

Join us for a day of industry updates, regulatory insights, and professional networking. Our program features leaders from across the rail sector discussing the latest legislative, safety, and operational developments as we work together to strengthen the future of the North American rail network.
